| Driving back from Shropshire today up the M1 and my Speedo/Cruise Control/Trip Computer just stopped working, so I've done over 100 miles without doing any mileage. Not long after this happened, the engine light came on indicating a problem, and to top it off, when I go round corners, the fuel gauge dips really quickly and the section which guesses how much fuel you have is bobbing between 5 miles and 150 miles still left with the fuel light coming on and off regularly... I have about half a tank left! All of the above happened within about 20 minutes of each other and the car seems to have lost some of its oomph as well. What the hell is going on? ![]()

| The only time that something similiar to this happened to mine was after I fitted the TIP... I'd managed to knock lose a wire down there which then rubbed on the driveshaft. It stripped the insulation on the wire and shorted the circuit. A bit of insulating tape and a new fuse later all was well... I hope yours is something as simple . Fingers crossed.

| Off to JBS this afternoon around 4pm. The nice chap on the phone said to bring it in, even though they are booked up. He seemed to think it may be the speedo sensor thats gone. Anyway, needs the diags checking to point in the right direction as to what has happened. I'll keep you all posted. If the car has to go off the road, SWMBO will not be happy. It means I'll be nickin her Fabia to go to work. ![]()

| The car was briefly on the diags this afternoon. NO FAULT FOUND!. The ECU is reporting no errors, yet Engine light is still on, and the speedo/trip/cruise still not working. Back again on Saturday afternoon for more detailed diagnosis. I'm getting worried this is gonna work out expensive. ![]()

| All fixed. A big thanks to Kev at JBS. It turned out to be blown fuse and a faulty Earth which he sorted in less than an hour. So simple, yet so annoying!
