New carpet

Does anybody know of anywhere that has a black carpet in stock for my vRS. Sick to death of the stained mess that resides on the floor at the moment so i'm just going to change it for a blck carpet. A list of breakers yards or something would be mucho appreciated.

Re: New carpet

When I was looking for one, all the ones in the breakers were knackered. They are usually either covered in oil/mud or moldy due to rain coming in through broken windows. If you get Auto Trader, or similar, there is a company which advertises in there. They make fitted carpets for around half that of the dealers. I don't have the details but I'll keep my eyes out.

Re: New carpet

Brilliant, Cheers Phil. I'v just bought some Audi S3 Recaro seats. So this carpet should help to finish the look i'm wanting.

Re: New carpet

I guess you don't want to pay dealer prices which aren't too bad especially if fitting it yourself.
It's not listed as a VRS carpet but it's still the same only different colour.
A few members on here have done it already, I'm sure someone posted a while ago with photos!

Re: New carpet

Hi
I changed my carpet after a water leak and also owing to it being a bit tatty i was going to get a black carpet but when i went to the dealer they contacted skoda and they stated that it would need to be a special order so i went for grey which looks good with the black interior i think i paid £180for it and fitted it myself in an afternoon
If you want to see it search under new carpet and i posted pics
Regards Whoosh

Re: New carpet

Is it not possible to dye the existing one perhaps?

Re: New carpet

I got the charcoal carpets fitted by the local dealer, think it cost around £200 in total. Makes a huge difference, the car was just over a year old when I had it done and the silver carpets were already very tired looking, the dark one still looks pretty fresh after eighteen months.

I'm sure like myself, all those with brats in tow will agree that the silver carpet idea was just a touch retarded in the design.

First day off in 2 weeks so i'll start phoning round i think.
