| new clutch in octy vrs hi guys, I've just had to have a new clutch in my octy vrs and its only done 40k. coming home from work 2 weeks ago and no drive at all, no warning nothing. and its not cheap to replace. £197.00 clutch kit. genuine skoda part had it done at my mates garage. total cost for job including labour and the dreaded V.A.T £467.00. how steeps that, he had to pick me up off the floor. the following week i had new brake pads all 4 corners EBC greens £75.00 for the fronts £45.00 for the rears and £30.00 to have them fitted. now i have a engine management light on the dash. had it checked out and found its the air flow sensor that needs replacing so there's another £100. it's all or nothing, one thing goes wrong , then its something else. boon65 ![]() |
