New ( to me ) Octavia

'We' have just bought an 04 Octavia Ambiente SE TDI

Low miles, fsh, plenty of kit, at a reasonable price.
There's just two problems.
1- it's black
2- 'She' says it's not fast enough.
Bugger, it looks life my Fabia will be waving goodbye every morning

You need to nip that in the bud mate.

Point out it's her car and if she wants a quicker she must pay for it.

Get the Intercooler and VNT turbo from a TDI 110, and a nice remap

The add FSD or some other shocks as those things are like boats and you are sorted
