| Re: New style wipers for Octy? Why do you tink that these new style will be any better (I think I know the sort you mean). Quality of the wiper is as much to do with cleanliness of the glass and wiper blade as it is to do with the make of wiper itself. Degrease you windscreen and blades first off and see what that does would be my first recommendation.

| Re: New style wipers for Octy? I agree with Leeboy, but had always found the passenger wiper to be crap. I fitted the new aero wipers a couple of weeks ago, and so far I am impressed. There is a group buy organised with VAGparts (see GB links). Same wipers as Golf Mk4

| Re: New style wipers for Octy? I think the MKIV Aero conversion is much better than just the standard blades.

| Re: New style wipers for Octy? So I need a MKIV Aero conversion wiper set? Are these on eBay? I have tried degreasing my windscreen and fitting new and degreased blades to no effect. My passenger wiper is definatly worse! |

| Re: New style wipers for Octy? I've just fitted aero wipers to my vRS. They are MILES BETTER than the old ones.

| Re: New style wipers for Octy? If you look under the group buys section on here you will find a post by mbames as he set up a group buy for them. IIRC this group buy saves you about £20 off the standard price. I did mine ages ago and can honestly say it's the best upgrade i ever did.

| Re: New style wipers for Octy? Dunno about the hatch octy. The window is so big that I don't think any other VW/AUDI has that big an aero wiper at the back. When you come to do the wiper arm swaps, you may find the arms a pig to remove. I had to revert to using my ball joint seperater to lift the arms of the spindle they were that tight.
