New temperature sensor - easy!

For some time now the water temperature sensor on the Octy has been faulty. I eventually got round to replacing it today. Lazy sod

Took 10 minutes and the most time-consuming part was replacing the engine cover!

Next job - rear brake discs - once I can get some at a decent price

Shamelessy stolen from Mr Clubley's site

It's in that area but not the one I have put the cross through, I think it's just underneath and you can see it sticking out in the photo.

HTH.

And as always I may be wrong

Near enough - you have to remove another cover, but once you have it is a very easy job. Part is about £30 and is common to all 1.8T engines - I got mine from the VW dealer after explaining to the parts guy that my Skoda had a VAG engine
