I've heard of deals a little less than that. Maybe have a look at buying a demo car if they have one. Dealers dont have a massive margin to play with but even at list its a cracking motor for the money.

assuming its the octy I got mine in March this year for £13300 with parking sensors and Black Magic paint so theres an idea for you. I would imagine you may get one cheaper who knows depends on the dealer.

Horners Bury have an advert in the local paper this weekend with ......

Skoda Octy vRS

WAS £13,990 - NOW COST + £1 = £12,923

It says 3 only - with delivery mileage.

Not sure where you are, but if you're not in North West you can always see if your local dealer will match it if it sounds a good price.

I recently paid £14180 for my estate- options: black magic, parking sensors, heated seats and airbag switch. If you're not too bothered about options, you should be able to get one for around (or even under) £13K. Ordered mine from www.buyacar.com

We'll after a chat and several phone calls they offered me £13580 in black. They can't do cruise control.

Not fantastic considering it is up for replacement soon and I thought they would bite my hand off. Was a bit disapointed that they couldn't do cruise etc.

Thanks for the response folks.

Couldn't do cruise? You wanna find a better dealer pal.

That doesn't sound even close to the Horners price I posted.
I assume the "can't do cruise" comment is because they are trying to sell you a car that is already in stock. I recently got an Octy vrs estate, but I specified cruise, heated seats, rear parking sensors and airbag switch, which made it a factory order and 10-12 week delivery.
Maybe they have stopped taking factory orders now as the new model approaches - mine was placed around easter time, but the situation could have changed I guess.
There is someone on here that fits cruise...
http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showt...ghlight=kruise
That might be an option

I get the impression it is one within the country as they quoted a 2wk delivery. I did specify that it needed cruise control so I am guessing no more factory orders???

Might have mised the boat on this one then.

You can have cruise control retro fitted by one of our very own techies...uses genuine Skoda parts fitted by a genuine Skoda tech/engineer.

Cost....approx £160 with a donation to the running of BRISKODA.

If you like the idea and want to know more PM me for details.
