Newbie- Tuning options???

Hi all.

Ive been a member on here and have owned my octy vrs for about a year but have never posted on here before, so here goes.

i know these questions have been asked to death but i cant find what im looking for in the search option.

i have saved up about a £1000 and im looking at tuning my rs but i need a bit of advice on what parts are best and where's cheapest to get them.

im looking at getting:

1. Custom re-map (either MRC or jabbasport, which is best?)
2. induction kit (looked at Carbonio, BMC, and ITG but not sure which one)
3. exhaust (have been looking at milltek but any suggestions of others is good)

any suggestions, recommendations or if people have done the same mods, what did you go for?

cheers, Dan

Re: Newbie- Tuning options???

Firstly get a rear arb - will improve handling no-end apparently, its on my shopping list.

Jabba offer a good remap but you could save some money and get a 'generic' remap, there are some good ones about, bluefin etc just search forum.

Exhaust - again look through forum good and bad things said about Miltek, there is blueflame also.

Yep ARB is a good buy, I'd go for
  1. Carbonio
  2. Cat back Jettex,Milltek,Blueflame all good
  3. Jabba custom remap
  4. Neuspeed ARB

Re: Newbie- Tuning options???

We offer either the Milltek full exhaust system with the P-Torque software, or the Piper full exhaust system with mapping.

Both of the above we can do for around the £1000 mark, including fitting
