|  Octaiva Elec Window Lifter Hi, the elec. window lifter on my Octavia rear offside has broken (window currently held up by piece of wood!). Local dealer advises that whole unit needs to be replaced (cost £80+VAT for part alone) rather than just the small broken plastic part. Has anyone else had this problem & is the dealer correct? Also, any idea what the part number is for this item? Many Thanks |

| Re: Octaiva Elec Window Lifter Search Forums for window dropped - you are not the first, and there are good DIY guides or your stealer will happily oblige. Culprit is a chepo plastic bit - now being repaced by a more robust item. problem affects heaps of VAG vehicles... |
