| Octavia Classic with rear drum brakes Hi Skodians out there, I'm driving a 2001 Skoda Octavia Classic. Does anyone have a problem with the rear drum brakes screeching whenever they apply the brakes. I've had this problem even after 2 to 3 days of my regular brake servicing. Any advise ? Or is it a common problem with the design ? Regards, Victor ![]() |

| Re: Octavia Classic with rear drum brakes If they are clean, adjusted correctly and the rust lip has been taken off the drum they should be quiet in operaion.
