| Octavia door modifications Has anyone modified their door cards to fit deeper and better speakers in? I'm in the process of making up some mdf panels to fit where the grilles sit to give me some extra depth. I've already trimmed off the grille locating bits with a stanley knife and have made up the 18mm boards. I was looking for photos of other peoples creations to give me an idea on how to mount and trim them. Or if anyone knows of any galleries online that show this mod. Ian ![]()

| Re: Octavia Door Builds Yep, I've got some custom door builds Fibreglassed and vinyl covered builds to match the original colour of the door cards. Angled up towards the front seat passengers for a better sound-stage. ![]() ![]()

| Re: Octavia door modifications Nice like those! Did you buy them ready done or did you do them yourself? Mine are gonna be the original door pockets and then i'll recover the mdf with maybe the same colour carpet as the vrs or try and match the silver vinyl in the door cards. Will post pics when i'm done Any Others? Ian ![]()

| Re: Octavia door modifications I had them made by http://www.prestigeaudio.co.uk Seeing the way they've been made it's quite easy to do. They've just extended the standard mounting point using fibreglass and mdf. I know Joel_vrs had done some rear door builds, not sure if he ever got round to doing his fronts?
