Question Octavia estate Hydraulic tailgate struts

Does anyone know a VW part no for the lifting struts for an Octavia Estate(1999). My boot goes up slowly and comes down fast; Not good.
Skoda dealer quoted me £33 each for the struts. German and Swedish(supplier of VW parts) can supply similar parts for a passat or Mk4 Golf estate for £9:75 each plus VAT and post(around £14) they cannot confirm however if they'l do for the Octavia. Anyone know??? :

£33 is a relatively good price. The latest price update has them listed at £36.53.

Price of £33 each from Deans (soda main dealer in Dumfries) £9:75 plus VAT and carraige from German and Swedish Car parts mail order nationwide. I used to have a mk3 golf and used them for parts sometimes 25% of the dealer price for OE parts.
