| Octavia oil change Planning on changing the oil this evening and have a few quick questions: 1) Is the oil filter a traditional self-contained tin can type or is it like the Astra MK4 where the filter element is contained in a casting on the black. 2) Are Halfords likely to stock the part? 3) Do I need to replace any washers/rings around the sump plug? |

| Re: Octavia oil change Just been to halfords. The air filter was easy but the Octavia wasnt listed in the book on the shelf for Oil filters. Easy, I thought and found the filter for a 1.8T Bora, then I checked at the parts counter and found that the Octy one is actually different :S |
