| Re: Octavia Seats did you ever get an answer to this question, as I now face the same job... ive found two 13mm nuts at the front, next to eachother, but dont want to start pulling plastic trim off if theres nothing to find under there |

| Re: Octavia Seats Push your seat forward. Undo the 2 nuts, then at the back of the runners theres a cap either side. Under the caps are 2 torx screws, undo these and bobs your uncle and fanny's your aunt. Make sure you unclip the seat belt wire as well !!! HTH |

| Re: Octavia Seats thanks for that. made a total gash up of it, managed to snap a slider trim and gouge a nice rip in the leather in the process, but lumbar support problem now fixed! cheers |

| Re: Octavia Seats Hey, maybe this is something for a new topic but do you know if the chair can be placed a bit more backwards? Like a Superb or Benz, with more space that way. I have long legs... Greetings, Snoetje ![]()

| Re: Octavia Seats Not without pretty major work, the front bracket is welded in place, not sure about the runners. It does go a bit further back as you lower the seat though. |

| Re: Octavia Seats Thanks!!! I had the same conclusion after some optical inspection, though a confirmation was needed before wrecking the whole floor. Its clear now; to much work / not sure if the seat will stay in place afterwards (braketest > boing!)A big plus for the Superb than! (drove a v6tdi for 1.5 year, what a comfort)

| Re: Octavia Seats Why not have a bracket made up that replaced the one on the seat and adds and extra stop or two to it? That is what the old cars i had used to have.
