| Re: Octavia VR6 If you mean the old VR6 lump then I don't see any point, just get a vRS. If you mean the newer 2.8 from the 4motion v6 then I think it's been done but requires custom mounts? I could be talking rubbish though! |

| Re: Octavia VR6 The 2.8 mounts will fit straight onto the Octavia, same chassis. You would just need a 2wd six speed box unless it was an Octavia 4x4. Twin turbos are nt really possible on a right hand drive car due to the steering and brake system getting in the way. |

| Re: Octavia VR6 I agree, with the power that's coming out of the 1.8t the atmo VR6 is looking a bit of an irrelevance, but the VR6 can be supercharged. Anyway, I was just wondering whether or not anyone'd heard of one, rather than thinking about building one myself. |

| Re: Octavia VR6 I know someone who fitted a V64M engine and gearbox to a Golf 1.4, all they had to do with the gearbox was block off the transfer box.
