Re: octavia vrs estate

Hi dont know about the octy but i used to own a sab 900 v6 that made a clicky creaking noise from the drivers sill, only did it after a repair to the drivers sill (i'd connected with a concrete bollard in a car park at walking pace, but that was enough!) despite it being prof repaired by saab dealer it sometimes creaked under braking. Only a thought but look for a accident repair, near the location of the noise, could it be loose interior trim?

Re: octavia vrs estate

I get a slight click from the drivers seat on acceletation/braking but don't think there is anything much wrong. If it falls apart I'll fix it

Re: octavia vrs estate

I've had that on mine once. A quick visit to the dealer and an application of grease to the door'd moveable parts sorted the problem.

Re: octavia vrs estate

I wonder if we'rer looking in the wrong place. get a passenger to stick his/her head out of the windows when the problem is apparent and they'll be able to point in the direction of the noise.
