| Octavia vRS idle speed Can anyone tell me what is the recommended idle speed for the Octy vRS? According to the rev counter mine seems to idle at around 750-800 rpm when fully warmed up - is this within the set tolerances for the 1.8T AUQ engine? It also seems to feel slightly 'lumpy' on idle though this may be due to the car needing new plugs  (its done just over 38K miles - IIRC the plugs need changing every 40K)

| My octy RS also idles between 700-800revs, and mine is the AUQ block. |

| According to Autodata CD2, idle speed for all the 1.8T engines is 760 ± 100 rpm. Idle speed is non-adjustable.
