Octavia vRS lumpy tickover / lack of power

Hi,
Hope someone can help, my Octavia VRS has recently developed a lumpy tickover, not a huge change in revs, but noticeable, and also I noticed a reduction in power in all gears (feels like the turbo isn't boosting fully).
I have cleaned the throttle body but this didn't change anything.
Thanks for any help in advance.

A diagnostic scan (dealer or VAG-COM) would be useful to check if any faults are logged. Is there a smell of unburnt fuel from the exhaust which might just point to a faulty coil pack?

Yes, I did remove the throttle body when I cleaned it. Also I have noticed a gurgling bubbling noise when I switch the car off, has this got anything to do with it at all?

So I take it the throttle body has been disconnected and not reset with diagnostic equipment...yes?

Yes, but I kept all pipes etc connected, just took the plug out. Should it be reset, I reset via the door open method.
