Octavia vRS tuning advice needed

Just bought an 02 Octavia vRS and im over the moon with it. Its standard apart from uprated discs & pads but i don't want it to stay that way for long. I have about £1000 to start off with and would like to know what engine mods are reccomended. I was thinkin of a s/s exhaust, induction kit, dump valve & remap.
I live in south derbyshire (burton-on-trent for anyone who knows the area) and would like to know of any reccomended tuners in my area.

Try a turbo intake pipe (rubber or alloy) free flowing filter (panel or cold air induction) go for a 100/200cel race cat; and add a nice stainless exhaust (blueflame and Milteck) do this before remapping and you should be looking at arond 220-240bhp........Dump valves make little diff;
