| Octy front disk sizes? 2001 TDi estate - anyone know what size the front disks are? I am sure the Calipers have 'III' on them, and a few letters before them. Part Co are quoting about £35/per disk and £34 for all 4 pads. Unipart in make. Anything particulary bad about those? I am waiting for a dealer to work out the prices of some disks and pads. |

| Re: Octy front disk sizes? 280 or 288mm, with FSIII calipers. Haynes says 280, but have been known to be wrong, and I will not attempt to guess that sort of difference in diameter! |

| Re: Octy front disk sizes? yup i changed mine last year (01 tdi ambiente estate) ,i took a wheel off and measured mine, they were 280mm and made a not of the pad shape, as there were 2 shapes listed. i got mine from Car Parts and Car Accessories - Buy Parts By came to just short of £60 delivered the next day. |
