Octy Mk1 - Aftermarket Clutch

Anyone reccommend an aftermarket clutch for the Mk1 VRS, running at 250BHP with 266Ft/Lb Torque at 3000rpm so needs to be a damn site better than the standard one which has just exploded and taken out my gearbox!!! Was thinking of a 5 pad clutch kit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also need a Gearbox! Lol

Re: Octy Mk1 - Aftermarket Clutch

Hello. I am running a lightened Corrado G60 flywheel and "Spec" clutch from the USA. I cant recommend it highly enough. Its silky smooth, only light juddering at the inital biting point and thats only at 1000rpm. Its a puckled clutch and not a paddle so much smoother. Its rated to 400 BHP and loads of torque so should suit the spec of your car as it is now and also be ready for any further upgrades.

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Garry

Re: Octy Mk1 - Aftermarket Clutch

Hi
We do the ECS stage 1 clutch that comes with the SMF
This comes with all the bolts that are needed too at £275.00 + VAT
We have sold quite a few of these
We also do the G60 conversion and that is a full kit too and that one is £320.00 + VAT
Hope that helps a bit too
