| Octy VRS Brake Fade when Wet Im on my second Octy VRS with 8000 miles on the clock & ive noticed this one has terrible brake fade when driving in wet conditions, my previous one didnt have the same problem. I will of course be reporting the fault, I have a theory, perhaps they need bleeding & because of this the pads are retracting away from the disks allowing the discs to be covered with a layer of water, comments please. |

| Does this happen if you have not touched them for a while.. say on a motorway.. Then start to brake and nothing happens for a second or so? If this is the case then it is a film of water and salt/crap that needs clearing.. Drilled or grooved disks eliminate this.. OE alternative is ATE Powerdiscs avialable from Euro Car Parts.. cheers Dazz
