| Octy vRS to Leon Cupra R Much as the title says im thinking of switching from my mk1 vrs to a LCR 225, ive had the octy for just over a year now and am starting to feel like i want more but financial restraints mean i cant have too much more so after some looking about i decided on the lcr but what id like to know is, is the LCR diffirent enough from the octy to warrant changing or would a simle remap give me what im after from the octavia??? cheers for any ideas people chris |

| Re: Octy VRS to Leon Cupra R A remap of a standard octavia will give you very similar performance to the LCR for a lot less money. You may fine the Leon cheaper to insure though

| Re: Octy VRS to Leon Cupra R It is , but if you have your octy remapped , it will often cost quite a bit more than a standard car

| Re: Octy VRS to Leon Cupra R The remap I think will sway your decision, puts a lot more spark into the engine.

| Re: Octy VRS to Leon Cupra R I agree with the above, a remap makes a world of a difference. Also I've fitted full KW v1s coilovers and a rear ARB, and it take the cars handling into another league :p If you live somewhere near North Wales I'd be happy to take you for a spin, or I might be looking at selling the car in the next few months, so it might interest you getting a pre modded vRS. |

| Re: Octy VRS to Leon Cupra R Certainly no more than £200, though they can be had for around £120-150.

| Re: Octy VRS to Leon Cupra R Thanks alot folks, i must admit i do still like the look of LCR but it was mainly an improved drive i was after and if this can be had with some simple mods such as these then it might just sway me. cheers |
