| Re: The old hesitation after remap problem Right having covered a couple of hundred miles I can say......It's an improvement but not a cure. Still getting odd stutters but not quite as bad. Now though the revs climb abit when I change so might try a weaker spring in the DV to cure this. I have a Revo sps and reverted to stock map and car runs smooth as anything am back on performance map though as I prefer the power even with the stutter. I have had a thought about this because I still am sure that I have heard what sounds similar to dv sound on part throttle accompanied by the momentary loss of boost and think maybe the problem is exhaust side specifically the turbo actuator. I figure that increasing the boost may be to much for the old componant and like a dv with a weak spring bleeds boost this could be bleeding exhaust gas through the wastegate. Had a look at this and was thinking of trying it with a slightly harder spring Forge Motorsport | Alloy Fabrication . Will contact forge and ask them if it fits first.

| Re: The old hesitation after remap problem Today I got the engine light up and a scan revealed 16795 Secondary Air Injection System (B2) - Incorrect Flow or Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected : P0411 I am guessing this is a result of disconnecting the N249 so have cleared the code and will replumb everything in tomorrow ![]()

| Re: The old hesitation after remap problem Yes I figured it was the N112 as well anyway its back to normal plumbing now so I don't anticipate it coming on again. While plumbing it back in though I did make an interesting find which seems to have smoothed things out lovely but time is the teller. You know when you look and think something is different, spent a moment scratching my head and then thought my coilpacks looked wrong somehow, pressed down on one and it slid down about 7mm. They where all like it even the one under the vacuum cannister don't know why as I changed the plugs myself back in March and know I pushed them firmly home.Anyway so far so good but I will be monitoring them.

| Re: The old hesitation after remap problem What map is it? Mine is smooth as silk now. The cure? Well a very simple one for me luckily. Coil packs had popped up, I pushed them in and next day they had lifted again. Closer inspection revealed my plugs had worked loose and leaking gas was blowing the coilpacks up causing a splutter as the boost came in on part throttle. Don't know if the loss of compression or the bad coil/plug connection or both combined caused the hesitation but I torqued the plugs up to correct values and the coil packs have not moved since. Now the car is running fine with more power, smooth acceleration and better mpg.

| Re: The old hesitation after remap problem My 17705 is back! After 6 months of freedom! Looks like I'll be cleaning the TB again. I guess it's just a standard service procedure now, to keep her sweet. Looks like the schedule is every 6 months..... Now where did I put that can of carb cleaner?...

If the throttle body is getting dirty maybe it would be worth tracing it back a bit. I'm taking mine off tomorrow to fit the FMIC, gonna be interesting to see what its like.

| Re: The old hesitation after remap problem What do you mean by smoke test exactly, I ask because I can't see how that would prove theres no leaks. Unless it from inside the engine. |
