Our new car - Octavia VRS Mk1

Hello all

As some of you have seen, me and my girlfriend have been looking for a MK1 VRS Octavia for some time now. After driving many cars we found one that fitted the bill perfectly.

I have to be honest and confess that i cheated a little and purchased a pre modified one (i know, i know, i cheated ) but after seeing the car and meeting Simon i saw how well the car has been maintained and looked after that i just had to have it. We saw it on Saturday and collected last night. What a great car it is. All the mods are the ones we had planned to do already to it so am really pleased with the results.

Mods are:

18"x8 - BBS RC Alloy Wheels
H&R Coilovers
Eibach Rear Anti Roll Bar
Golf R32 Front Anti Roll Bar
Custom Code - Stage 2 Software
JBS Autodesigns CAI pipe
Green Cotton Filter - Located behind the front bumper
Spec clutch and single mass flywheel - It rattles (which is cool, sounds race like)
Forge Eliminator diaphragm dump valve
Forge silicon hoses (black)
Blue Flame Sports Cat/Downpipe and Milltek System (To be changed as i work for Piper )
Millotek front bumper grilles (Not sure if we like them yet might swap back to STD) and black grille and smoked rear lights

Pictures are below.

Yes, was Simons F1 Brighton demo car after a quick test drive (5 up) was impressed at how well it went and handled so just had to have it.

Hope you all like it, even though your probably familiar with it. And i look forward to becoming part of the BRISKODA family.

Kind Regards

Garry

Thanks for the comments. I plan to leave it looking as it does. Only things i may change are the Bumper grills, and of course the Exhaust

Smilin Driver - Yes i guess it will be. It wont be for some time as our development schedule is packed for most of this year already, so i cant get mine on the ramps to develop one

Will pop it in the for sale section when its done for ya all to fight over, lol.

Kind Regards

Garry

Re: Our new car - Octavia VRS Mk1

Lovin the grill comments. We shall decide if we like them, they may grow on us yet, but initally we do prefer the STD ones. Shall give it time we think

Again thanks for all the positive comments, were so happy with it

We am looking at going to the Maidstone meet but are there any other shows/trackdays etc we should be looking to attend?

Regards

Garry

Re: Our new car - Octavia VRS Mk1

I have to say that I think your motor looks pretty good as it is. If it were me I'd keep it as is... but it is yours!

The wheels looked a lot better than I expected when I read your notes. Very nice.

Welcome to BRISKODA.
