| Parent's Octi 1.9tdi Ambiente, alternator pulley snapped. FIRE FIRE My parent's Octi broke down last week in France, the Alternator pully snapped and as a result the alternator caught fire  . They managed to put the fire out before it got to bad and have since had a new alternator and belt fitted.Is it worth taking it to a Skoda dealer over here to have it checked out properly? as the work wasn't carried out by a Skoda Dealer (it was a small garage that support the Breakdown company) And Is there any thing else that might damaged? |
