| Parking Sensors Fitting Advice Needed I'm fitting my ebay parting sensors tomorrow and have a few questions for those that have done this already. How do you get the cable from the sensors into the boot? ( If I have to drill a hole, how do I seal it back up? ) Do I need to take the back bumper off? Thanks in advance for the help. |

| Re: Parking Sensors Fitting Advice Needed Hi, the kit should come with a large rubber grommit which replaces the bung in the rear panel behind the bumper. yes you need to remove the bumper, but it's not that difficult. ![]() You will also need a cone drill to make the holes in the bumper for the sensors, (the instructions tell you to drill below the black strip, But some people prefer to drill the strip as the sensors are black, if you don't then they can be painted) take you time & you can make it look like a genuine fit, & you will definately find them a boon to reversing with the high boot line. Hope this helps & good luck. ![]() Post some pics when you've done. By the way what are "parting" sensors, do they get rid of traffic jams ![]() ![]()

| Re: Parking Sensors Fitting Advice Needed Thanks for the tips. Have checked the kit I got and no rubber gromet came with it, but do have the hole saw. At least the sensors are silver which match my car. Might take off the bumper to have a look and see how it goes from there. |
