| I had to leave my car (110TDi) on the drive last night (gfs in the garage). I got in this morning, and turned ignition on, and then used the wipers to clear the screen (not frozen) - they were very slow (and juddery on the return). Also starting the car was very slow - I wondered if it was going to catch! However if I get in and turn the key immediately all it fine - it seems the delay between turning ignition on and then starting makes it worse.... any ideas? I have notivec this behaviour for the last month or so.... Cheers, Matt |

| The wiper blades have been sticking a bit on mine for the last month or so on a cold dry screen. It's only for the first couple of inches and I've just put it down to work out blades

| Charge the battery and see, The delay could cause the effects you state from a dodgy battery as when you put the key into the pre-starter position ther eis open circuit for other components to use up the tiny bit of power available in the battery. I'd certainly suspect that as first port of call. Saying that I'd just top up the water in the cells, and take it for a good long motorway drive to see if it improves things. |

| It normally does approx 30 minute trips (although at the weekend it did a number of shorter trips (about 10 mins). I'll pop it in the garage and maybe give it a charge. Should I disconnect the battery the cables (or at least the earth link?). Not sure if my radio (after-market Pioneer with a face-off) has a code.... No motorways in Dorset :-( |
