| Dunno if a mk4 golf has the same wiring as your car, but when the brake light switch went on mine, none of the brake lights including the high level one worked. For the cost of a switch (about a fiver) I'd change it anyway.. ![]() ![]() |

| Al, I think Fatty meant he'd lost both side brake lights but the high one still worked, so it's not the switch. |
