Radiater fan - any fuse?

The radiator fan in my Octavia (1.6 petrol from 2000) doesn't seem to start, and I was wondering if there is a fuse to check - can't seem to find it anywhere.

Re: Radiater fan - any fuse?

Maybe a coolant temperature sensor?

Try a search on it.

Re: Radiater fan - any fuse?

I know mine's a diesel, but it just doesn't seem to heat, even when stuck in m/way traffic jams that spend an hour or so at anything between standstill and 15mph. So I'd suspect the separate temperature sensor mis-reading, rather than the fan not cutting in.

Re: Radiater fan - any fuse?

Had one on 1999 1.8 the other week. It was a corroded fuse, green 30Amp on top of the battery towards the drivers side.

Re: Radiater fan - any fuse?

The radiator fan fuses are on top of the battery. The radiator stage 1 fuse (30A) is the righthand one of the group of 3 small fuses on the left, and the radiator fan stage 2 fuse (40A) is the midddle one of the group of 5 on the right.
