I'm going to remove my driver's seat tomorrow to replace the foam in the base. The seat has an airbag in so I'm just wondering what precautions I need to take with it? Thanks ![]()

| I would disconnect the battery 5 or 10 mins before you start and leave it off while you have the seat out. Other than that just treat it gently when you take it out I think.

Follow VRStus advice, don't rush, don't turn the ignition on with it removed as it will throw a fault code, when you turn the ignition on after refitting - keep clear.

i wouldnt have thought the wrc would have had airbags in as they add weight, i guess that's why they didnt put it into the vRS

Thanks for all the advice, I left it 20 minutes or so and all went well. I now have sore fingers from replacing the foam in the seat base, though!
