| Weeping injectors? Has anyone ever experienced this before? It looks as if my injectors are weeping.... Does this seem likely? In the pics below, my rather dirty engine bay (car has done over 100k) you can quite clearly see what seems to be a damp area where the injectors plug into the inlet manifold. ![]() ![]() ![]() Any thoughts? I've not noticed any difference in performance, not sure how long it's looked like this either....

| Re: Weeping injectors? I have seen it before, happens a fair bit but doesnt seem to cause any great issues. I have replaced the inserts and seals in the manifold before now but the issue seems to return on some cars. Its just easier to steam clean the engine off, takes the same amount of time for it to return..lol. I think its to do with the boost pressure in the inlet manifold. |

| Re: Weeping injectors? Thanks Lummox, I've been and ordered some new O-ring inserts today, will see if that helps to stop it...

| Re: Weeping injectors? Its oil that is being blown out of the intake system (enters via breather circuit) so isnt all that serious, just looks a little messy. |
