What mods do you have got now and have you any way of tweaking your remap? Also is the Miltek you plan to get a turbo back or cat back?

Currently have a Jabba remap and green cotton air filter. The Milltek will be turbo back including sports cat.

If you can't tweak the map then don't bother with the FMIC as it'll probably have a negative effect.

Exhaust will give a bit more power and a nice sound so would be high on the list.

DV you should have got this when you had the remap really. I'd personally go for a Forge DV 007P as they can be picked up at a good price and have a lifetime warranty and excellent aftersales support.

Induction kit - depends on your priorities but IMHO is only worth getting for the sound it makes if that's your thing.

I'm sure tweaking the remap will be necessary!

What benefit wil the DV have? (besides the sound) I'm not fussy on the make of the DV, but the forge one having a lifetime guarantee is a very good choice!

You're rigt it will! but because you didn't answer when I asked if you could have the map tweaked I assumed you couldn't, especially given how far you are from Jabba. If you added an FMIC without upping boost then due to the pressure loss across the FMIC you would have less boost at the engine.

There's no real benefit other than it won't break like the OEM ones do even on standard cars. If your car is mapped and still on it's original DV I'd be very suprised if the diaphragm hasn't split already (noticable by a chirping sound when letting off the accelerator). Don't expect any difference in sound with a different DV as it still dumps the air back into the intake, if you want to hear it you need an induction kit.

Oops! Missed that one

Don't worry about the distance I'm from Jabba, I'll be over that direction at least twice this year, so a small detour woun't be an issue..

So what'ya think...

Trip 1 = DV , induction kit and exhaust (will probably source one in Ireland)
Trip 2 = FMIC and re-remap

Any other recommendations?

I couldn't agree more !
I use one and I'm very satisfied. Just keep in mind, change the blue spring with a yellow one, it fits better your overboost.

"What is the difference between a BOV and a Bypass Valve? How do they work, and are they necessary?
A Blow Off Valve (BOV) is a valve that is mounted on the intake pipe after the turbo but before the throttle body. A BOV's purpose is to prevent compressor surge. When the throttle valve is closed, the vacuum generated in the intake manifold acts on the actuator to open the valve, venting boost pressure in order to keep the compressor out of surge.
Bypass valves are also referred to as compressor bypass valves, anti-surge valves, or recirculating valves. The bypass valve serves the same function as a BOV, but recirculates the vented air back to the compressor inlet, rather than to the atmosphere as with a BOV."

Question: Dump-Valve is the same with Blow-Off-Valve?
