Angry What should I do?

Some scrote has gone along most of the cars in our street and scratched along the sides
Without digressing into the mentality of such a person, I am now left with 2 doors of my shiny green metallic Octavia with a long white line across them.

On close inspection the scratch doesn't seem to have gone through the paint, it seems the white colour is just the lacquer that has become damaged. I noticed this a lot on the opposite side when someone drove into my off side rear door the day before

So how do you treat this damage? Can you T-cut away the damaged lacquer or will that make it worse? Is it a re spray job?

Any advice welcome

Get a quote from one of the franchises which specialise in such repairs, eg ChipsAway or Dentmaster. As they are franchises, it is important to get an independent recommendation for their work, ie a satisfed customer.

IMO it doesn't take much to justify a respray i'm afraid. I once had a mkII Astra and got it resprayed including some bodywork for £1,200. 5 mins after I got it home, the 2 year old next door ran the handlebar of his trike up the side badly scratching 2 panels. Ended up leaving it as I was quoted £250 per panel to repair it. His parent of course denied all responsibility. Real sickener! I could have cried.
