Wheel ET help please

Hi i currently have some TT Quattro Replica wheels on my Octy VRS.
The ET is ET38. I currently do not have a spare wheel as the previous owner decided to sell it. Ive found a spare wheel but the ET is ET33. Will this fit without alot of problems? ie not rub etc....

Thanks in advance

Re: Wheel ET help please

Will depend on rim width. IIRC the 7" ones are ET35. How wide is the spare rim you have?

Re: Wheel ET help please

The fitment of the wheel is:
8x18
5x100/112 (Most VW's, Audi's, Skoda's and Seat's)
ET33
57.1CB

No idea what half of that means. Im not quite upto date with specs regarding wheels lol.

Re: Wheel ET help please

May well rub the arches as they'll stick out too far.

Will it be ok as just a spare though?
Will it rub really bad?
Or am i better looking elsewhere for another wheel?

Re: Wheel ET help please

the ET33 wheel, assuming they are both the same width, will be 5mm closer to the arch than your existing ET38
