Where to mount an alarm?

Afternoon all.

I've bought a Category 1 Toad alarm to fit to my Octavia vRS and having had a poke about under the bonnet, I can't really see anywhere to fit it? I was wondering about possibly removing the scuttle panel and fitting it there but have not checked to see if there is space yet. Without meaning to sound like a car thief, where do other people have alarms mounted?

Actually behind the glove box should be a good spot - not that easy to get to, nice and dry, east access to wiring, grommets to the engine bay etc.

Re: Where to mount an alarm?

Umm, sorry I actually meant the siren so I think it needs to be outside the cabin really? Thanks for the ideas so far.

The MK4 Golf one gets mounted behind the wiper linkage under the scuttle. Either that or around the relay box for the secondary air injection.

Re: Where to mount an alarm?

I have a Cobra 900 series cat 1 fitted, and the sounder is fitted at the rear of the engine bay at the top of the scuttle next to the servo if that makes sense
