Will Golf seats fit the Octy

Can Anyone Confirm it the MK4 seats out of the R32 or GTI will fit the Octy or not (2002 Elegance)??
I want some seats that will give better support in the Octy for Cornering but want to retain the side airbags if possible, the swap would be an ideal comprimise.
OK the RS seats would fit but I just dont like them

Now anyone know where a R32 or GTI is being broken, Ideally I want the all black leather jobbies & would like the rears as well, might as well keep it looking like it was meant to be

Best to look on eBay, leather recaros fetch somewhere in the region of £750 plus though!

Stuart.

I've been thinking along these line too.... I've been having a good look at Golf while walking the dog and I think the best choice would be the plain black leather GTI seats. They're pretty much the same as the R32 ones but you dont have to keep answering the "Why have your seats got R32 on them?" questions.

Alternativley, there are nice non-leather recaro seats in some GTI's.

a few months ago I was quoted £1000 for a set of R32 seats, just a tadge too expensive

doubt the door cards will fit, you'd need to get them re trimmed to match if thats your bag.

EddyH has R32 seats in his 4x4 estate... might be worth speaking to him...

Door cards don't fit. Yes S3 seats fit. Any Golf seats fit, 3dr or 5dr. R32 seats just have R on them and as VW do a range of r-line accessories I don't let it bother me, infact I have matching mats, gearknob, handbrake lever, steering wheel and pedals. My R seats are heated black leather and were £1500. Sounds alot but they were a £1600 option on the R32 on top of the standard half leather seats. Here's a pic of mine:
