| Windscreen washer jets. My windscreen washers jets spray my roof! Actually they emit a fine spray that seems to clean the screen just fine, but they also spray the roof and side windows! Is this normal? (I had a quick look and there doesn't seem to be any adjustment possible) Cheers Darren 2002 Octavia vRS |

| Re: Windscreen washer jets. They all do that mate ![]() Well mine does in any case and you are right there isn't any way to adjust them.

| Re: Windscreen washer jets. Hi there I had the same problem and checked the forum a while back to get the same answer - however just last night I had a closer look and you actually CAN adjust the jets: Open the bonnet and go the the side put your finger up underneath the jet and you push lightly up to adjust the jet down - worked a treat on my Octavia! Granted if you have fat fingers this is hard to do but it is possible and be careful not to knock out the water hose. Hope this helps |

| Re: Windscreen washer jets. Mine actually manage to hit the underside of the bonnet when spraying out.... and having the sunroof open is a definate no-no. I'll give the finger underneath trick a go tonight... |
