| Briskodian  | wish me luck just delivered the car to my local vag specialist , for cambelt change and new waterpump ,£180 all in (good price) ,however car started overheating yesterday so he is going to investigate .he reckons this could be the waterpump ,hopefully is as it wont cost any more . hes also going to hook it up to vag com and see what error codes i have got .so this could cost £180 or lots more cos of the overheating and a whole pile of error codes ,fingers crossed |

| Re: wish me luck £180! bargain. Is that for the cambelt kit? It may be the waterpump as they are prone to breaking up IIRC. Could just be a blocked thermostat too.

| Briskodian | Re: wish me luck thats for cambelt ,pully ,tensioner ,and damper basically everything and new coolant etc £180 was the quote he did say if he went over by a little bit of time might go to £190 -£200 but i dont mind paying the extra £20 as the guy knows his stuff .new pump with metal impellor too |
