eBay.co.uk: SKODA OCTAVIA VRS Performance Exhaust System (item 280098284621 end time 05-Apr-07 12:31:44 BST)
Having seen my original exhaust cut off at Blueflames and replaced with a complete system, I would think just the Blueflame sports cat and downpipe will not fit a standard system, as I also think the Bluflame pipes are larger than the standard pipes.

Buy the whole turbo back system and enjoy it, the Blueflame system is not too loud...Honest

Thanks for that,i know its the best thing to do im just a bit worried about the sound and if it will affect me if i ever sell the car, but i know ill get the best from my remap if i go for the 100 cell cat. I might go for a t.i.p aswell

Re: would this 100 cell cat fit?????

Depends on the bore size.

IIRC the standard dp and system is 2'' in bore so you would need reducer sleeves to go from either side of the cat.

Remember the original dp and cat are a single piece so the cat would need to be cut out.

Much better would be to get a larger bore dp and cat combo...Milltek and Blueflame so them, I believe. Gives more torque and a deeper sound.

If your worried about when the time comes to sell the car, then if you go to Blueflame, ask them to cut the old system off where its marked at several points along the pipes.
That way you can store it, and when you come to refit it prior to sale, all you have to do is sleeve over the original cuts.
Then sell the Blueflame on its own..
