| Briskodian | Yokohama C Drives Anyone tried these, I would be fitting them to my wife's Elegance so size would be 205 55 16. (Revo remap so it has to cope with a fair amount of power through the front wheels) I've seen lots of recommendations for the Toyos but I have the C Drives on my Elise and they are very good. The Octavia is a very different car obviously, so i am willing to go with the advise offered on previous Posts, just wanted to see if anyone had tried the Yokohamas on an Octavia. Thanks in advance for any advice offered. |

| Re: Yokohama C Drives Can't offer any direct advice on the c drives or on an octy (just had toyos fitted yesterday) but I had yokos on my escort in 205/40/17 (A539's) and they stuck like brown stuff to a blanket, however I avoided them in the 225/45/17 for my octy based on my regular tyre fitters advice that the 539's weren't available and whatever was were not very good in his opinion, hence getting the toyos.

| Re: Yokohama C Drives Had the C-drives on my 2003 Octy Vrs since Jan last year (front and rear at the same time) and can't rate them highly enough, like LJ Matt, I had A539's on my suzuki rally car as road tyres and thier brill, so thought I'd give the C- drives a go. Had them on the octy for 16k miles now and only just swopped them front to rear, and the fronts still have 5mm of tread left on them, they grip better in the wet or dry than the Dunlop sport 8000's that were on their from the factory, and they certainly last longer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CheeRS Andy |
