1.6 FSI plastic engine cover removal

Hello.
Does anyone know how can I remove the plastic engine cover of the 1.6 FSI engine? I have tried to pull it up but it seems that it has the air fiter built-in and I'm afraid not to do any damage to it.
Also I can't locate where the oil filter is mounted. I checked the MANN catalogue and it seems that it is mounted inside the engine with some kind of aluminium cap to seal it but I can't find it.
Any help please?

Lift it up, no fixings, but there is a connector on the right for the air temp sensor and a small pipe.

Oil filter is down on the left hand side (above alternator) under a plastic cap (36mm nut on the top iirc).

Thanks.
I removed it with no problems. And the oil filter also.
