| Hi everyone, I am new to the forum so I thought I would say hello and kick things off with a question. I plan on replacing my stock 16" alloys with 18" racing wheels, however the rim I want requires the smaller type nuts as the holes are smaller than usual. I can't go ahead and by regular nuts because skodas use the "screw type" nuts. Any suggestions? |

| hello there , if the wheels need a special nut surely your supplier should do his bit and supply same. i had this problem a few years back on a itsy bishy meant having to change wheel brace and all . but if you are really set on that particular rim you have no choice. wheel nuts are made in all sizes from very slim to normal to enlarged depending on the profile needed for the rim. if you are in ireland you should give brian @ carfit clondalkin, dublin a ring he is very helpful and really knows his stuff and will probably do you an unbeatable deal on most applications anyway best of luck. p.s. remember the new octy has a different offset than the last so make sure those wheels are suitable first before parting with your hard earned
