| Briskodian | 2.0TDI DSG clutch slip Hi, I've an Octavia II 2.0 TDI DSG and I've noticed a strange behaviour on DSG. In manual mode, 3° gear, 1800rpm, when I accelerate at 3/4 of max power I heard the motor increasing to 2500rpm (from the instrument)and stabilizing fom some seconds, while the car starts increasing speed. It seems as the clutch is sliping. After some seconds the motor continue to work regularie. Any idea? ---- Sorry for my english Felice |

| Re: 2.0TDI DSG clutch slip Are you sure the wheels aren't spinning? Could be wheelspin rather than clutch slip??

| Re: 2.0TDI DSG clutch slip are you sure the car hasn't just changed down to 2nd gear? just because it's in 'manual' mode doesn't mean it can't change up/down as it will not let the engine overrev or lug at too low revs in a high gear.... ![]() |

Yesterday I bring the car to the seller and he told me that it statrs a tourque limiter, but it is normal... The mechanic was not so sure and I'm not confident on his opinion. I'd like to know if anybody has noticed a behaviour like that | |
