Default 2007 models

Hi"

My dealer told me that Skoda will start producing their 2007 models in late June.
Does anyone know if there will be any changes made to the 2007 model compared to the 2006?

Regarding the Nexus navi, does anyone know if it will be upgraded to the DVD version which is being used by VW?

I can confirm that Skoda will introduce a 2litre TDI engined 4x4 Octavia in their 2007 offering, having written to ask them. They say end this year, beginning next, but I really hope it will be available sooner, in view of a likely imminent purchase .(depending on where we will be living soon, might not have to be 4x4 anyway)

Thanks for the update Kingsley. I hope that we will get the same over here in the UK as I am looking to change my Freelander and at the moment the Octavia 4x4 TDI is top of the list. Well, it's actually the only one in the list currently.

Tough choice for me then

4x4 TDI PD140 Estate
or
Octy RS PD170 Estate

What if they do a PD170 4x4 Estate
Putting that much torque and power (For a derv car) down to the road would be best done through 4 wheels rather than two.

So if skoda are reading this do the PD170VRs with 4x4... go on you know you want to

2007 for a TDi 4x4 estate ? Sounds perfect to me, the pitter-patter of tiny feet may be here by then so I'll have 2 cars to sell to make way for a sensible one

Indeed - I'm interested to know of any differences between the 2006 and the 2007 models too. If I order an Octy, it will be around the changeover time, hence I'm interested to know the differences to know whether I should concentrate on getting the order in fast, or delay it a little

I know about the possible Headunit changes...

I'd definitely sign up for a Briskoda group purchase of 4x4 TDi PD 140 estates.

We should be able to get a hefty discount from someone.............

Oh if only you could get the VRs with 4x4 on it Even more fun in estate versions.

It looks like Pegasus standard om Ambiente and Eleganse, aux in Jumbo box, backseat heat in Eleganse, new colors. Octavia Scout not official.

UK spec is always miles away from the european spec.

I can't see them sticking pegasus 17" alloys on Ambiente and Elegance as standard.

15 and 16" respectively at the moment and not everyone will appreciate the ride on 17's will they.
