| 235/45/17 Tyres Does anyone know if 235/45/17 tyres will fit on the vRS wheels I know the ones on it at the mo are 225/45/17 so was wondering if the extra 10mm will fit as this would improve the grip quite abit (extra 20mm of rubber on tarmac = 2mph faster round bends  )Seriously i can get 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 for the equiv of £300 fitted but before i do wanna make sure they fit Cheers Carl

| Re: 235/45/17 Tyres I don't think you can, not by looking at this tyre/rim calculator anyway (just over half way down the page). Maximum tyres on your rims are what you have already!

| Re: 235/45/17 Tyres So am i SWMBO has expensive tatse in shoes and clothes it took me about 6 months to get her to agree to a new car then a further 2 weeks for maxidot. Theres no way i can add £600 to my ever growing list of things to do to the car (im already on just over £3k) Unfortunately SWMBO really does wear the trousers in my house
