| Alarm confirmation tone - car changes setting itself. I have the alarm confirmation tone set to silent. Yesterday I locked the car and it beeped! I went into MFD and re-set it to silent. This is the third time I have had to do it, what do I need to do to stop it changing the settings on its own? Probably 6-7k to next service and it is a minor issue to spend a couple of hours going into a dealer over. Car is 4 1/2 months old.

| Re: Alarm confirmation tone - car changes setting itself. Finally realised what this is . . . . . I reprogrammed the car to silence the bleep with the key I normally use in the ignition. Also set to open all doors on one push. Did not do the same with the other key. Now when I pick up the spare key to get something out of the car . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . it only unlocks the drivers door on the first push and bleeps when I lock it. Must reprogram for the second key, and RTFM
