| Big thanks to VRStu for my OEM Bluetooth kit which is all in and working. I don't have maxidot or steering wheel controls but for straight forward speaking and hearing through the Stream radio it works a treat. ![]() However, I've coded it all up tonight through VAGCOM and was hoping the right had stalk buttons may come into use but they just operate the normal trip computer functions. Do you think there is a code somewhere to activate this or is it simply a case of a Maxidot retrofit needed? |

| The reason being is that without Maxidot you can't see to select the phone sub menu and thus then scroll the phone book. If you had a MFSW you could use voice instead.

| If you can get one I would think so. Not entirely sure on how things would work out with the controls as IIRC it has quite a few. Be interesting to try though.

| Hello all. Just wondering how the BT works without the maxidot and steering wheel controls? I'm currently Driving a Seat Altea with the optional BT kit, it seems a bit strange not to have the display etc. Cheers Rich |

| Calls would have to be initiated from the handset so really you are just getting Audio and Speach from the installed kit. You would be able to accept/reject calls with the righthand stalk.

| Nothing to change with VAG-COM in regards to the stalk. I you have an incoming call I would have thought you could press the button under the stalk to accept the call.
