Seems pretty bullet-proof to me.

I've tried the odd 'launch control' start, occasionally thump through the change 3rd to 4th and often change gear pretty swiftly and all seems OK.

If anything I'd worry about the long term strength of the clutch as opposed to the gearbox.

as long as you use the clutch correctly, don't do standing start burnouts and try to beat the synchromesh you are pretty safe.

Hmmm - this last couple of weeks, i've notched up 5x QUICK 1st-2nd-3rd gearchanges without using the clutch.

Unintentionally i must stress!! My brain made my arm move before my foot - was quite funny TBH, id hear a slight crunch as it went into gear, then my foot would go down and press the clutch after i was in gear, revving up whilst moving because of my go-pedal being planted...

I'm not experiencing any issues, and obviously need to concentrate a bit more.. Good to know they seem to be better made than the Chocolate ones i'm used to in my Cavalier...

having taken the gearbox to bits to fit a Peloquin ATB - I can vouch that they are seriously big tough-looking gears...

Hope that puts your mind to rest.....
