CK-15W Bluetooth car kit - where to put the screen?

Anyone on here got a Nokia CK-15W car kit installed in their Octy II? If so, I'm interested to know where you put the screen that comes with it - I'm getting one installed myself, and the most natural place to put it seems to be on the dash by the driver's side A-Pillar, but I already have an Origin B2 camera detector there - I don't want to really start cluttering up the dash and looking like I've had a spree in Halfords so any other ideas on where I can put it so that it looks like it 'should be there'?

Pics would be great if anyone can show me...

Cheers!

Re: CK-15W Bluetooth car kit - where to put the screen?

Hi,
I've got an Octavia Scout and want to put phone bluetooth on that. I've seen some pics of a parrot install with that module just below the radio, so that it obscures the air con controls ! I think I'm going to go for the Skoda bluetooth which Stu gets, you'll find him on this forum a lot. The display comes up on the Maxi Dot and there isn't the need for a bolt on screen to make the dash look like something from a repaired space ship.

What about placing the screen on a Brodit or Dashmount bracket?

I've used Handnav for the Brodit ones, and Dashmount here.

Good idea - I already have a Brodit thing installed so may have a look at getting rid of the phone holder and replacing it with the screen....hmmm...

Job done that then in my mind - as you won't need a place to put the phone, when you have the screen Just keep it in your pocket

And you don't need to buy anything additional....
